John Gould: The Family of Toucans TASCHEN Art Plate Prints & Booklet Open Box

Description: This listing is for plate prints of The Family of Toucans by John Gould. This was published by Taschen.These plates came in a sturdy red box that originally had 51 prints. I have used some to frame and give away over the years, so there are currently only 39 prints in this box - NOT 51.The booklet is inside giving some history of John Gould and his works. The soft sided booklet is 31 pages long and gives more information John Gould's works and also more detailed information about the Toucans he presented in these prints.The plate prints are 13" x 19". The box is 14" x 20" x 1.25 inches thick and is quite heavy.The booklet is in good condition with no marks, no tears or no issues. The booklet is very clean.The 39 available prints are all clean with NO creases or tears and are suitable for framing or viewing.The box has good corners but there are some slight stains and marks on the front side of the box (see picture). The back of the box is clean that shows the 51 prints that originally came with this "set".The 39 prints left can be used to frame and use for your home, or each one of the plate prints could be sold individually as I have seen some listed as eaches and sold from this collection.Please look at the pictures and ask if any questions. Prints are in very good condition. Booklet is in very good condition.Box front has wear and is in good condition.
