Description: Here is a auger gear case cover that came off of a vintage John Deere 826 snowblower. It is in very good structural shape. Check the i.d. stamp in pic. 10 for your particular application. This case cover still worked very well on the blower. The cover brass journal shows very little wear and just a bit of staining. The seal is in good shape too. The cast iron is in good fettle too without rust or cracks. All four fasteners, thrust washer, and gasket is included as well. This is still a very usable case cover to keep that auger/impeller assembly spinning strongly for years to come. Great for spare parts too! The old JD blowers were built like tractors and could move a lot of snow back in the day. They still can today and for years to come on these heavy-duty units. Go green and yeller!
