A separate printing of this very-adult children's story as a limited chapbook by California publisher Cobblestone Books. One of the most elusive hardcover limited titles in the Lansdale oeuvre. Limited to 750 signed numbered editions in softcover; in contrast the Lettered edition (26) copies was the only hardcover edition for this chapbook. A Near Fine, to Fine copy, bound in a thick tan cloth. The corners of boards remain sharp and the interior is clean, bright and fine. There are two tiny brown-opaque spots* at middle and lower rear board, and a small dark dot at the upper rear board. (*It should be noted that the aforementioned 'spots' appear darker in photo 3 than in person). This edition was not issued in a dust jacket. The front cover illustration is firmly affixed to the front board. On the Signed limitation page the letter 'V' appears in place of a number. A remarkable example of a truly uncommon Joe R.
