The 154-cpm mirror polish finished blade measures 6-7/8”. Merritt stamped on both sides of tang. Hidden tang construction, overall length 11-1/2”. Double brass hilt, walnut wooden oval handle with brass /white spacers and brass butt cap. Comes with its original high quality tool leather sheath stamped on back “Hand crafted Merritt . This knife and sheath were made by Jim at his Long Beach, Calif shop just before working for R.W. Loveless in Riverside, Calif. From 1981 to u til his passing in 2018. Comes from Jim’s personal collection left to his grandson Aaron Merritt. Knife and sheath are in excellent + unused condition, comes with shop business card.
