Description: For Sale - a very rare lot of five (5) VHS videotapes of “Jim Henson’s Muppet Meeting Films.” Tapes distributed by Video Arts, CBS/Fox Video and Video Publishing House Inc. Produced by Jim Henson Productions in the 1980’s and early 1990’s, these videos were sold to businesses as motivational programming with a comedic Jim Henson twist. Each video cassette features three short films about business (approx. 3-5 minutes each). These programs are performed by most of the main Muppet performers including Jim Henson, Frank Oz, Dave Goelz, Jerry Nelson, Steve Whitmire and others, and features reimagined classic bits and puppets from early Henson performances like the Ed Sullivan Show as well as the Muppet Show pitch reel and Little Muppet Monsters. This lot features five volumes of Muppet Meeting Films: - The Muppet Gimme A Break Film - The Muppet Side Splitter Film - The Muppet Perk Up Film - The Muppet Coffee Break - Muppet Mayhem This set of videotapes has been newly play tested and inspected and found to be in good working condition, with no mold or visible aesthetic defects to the physical tapes themselves. Lot appears to have been previously in a rental library (possibly from a corporation) and likely unused in storage since about 2002.
