Description: Vintage Cabachons BELT BUCKLE - interesting estate buckle. details:gorgeously designed Brass buckle w a slab of COPPER & then beautiful BRASS Overlay designdesign looks like a Temple & Dragons & clouds --the buckle holds gorgeous pronged CABOCHONS of 2 Jade 2 amethyst 2 tigers eye 2 Carnelians & 1 large Oval Obsidian Stone-- the sides of the piece are sewn on using the holes of the middle piece -- they are coppery fans that appear to be attached by thick macrame string. The belt hook is sewn into one of these pieces, leads me to believe it was either created by a designer or home made. & then the braided black macrame style belt which is what you see. Beautiful & unique. I have not found another buckle like this with such cabachon work anywhere. the middle piece could actually be repurposed into a necklace or something else, or could be simply used as the belt & buckle it was created as. middle rectangular piece measures 3 1/4" side to side x 1 7/8" top to bottom. measuring with the side pieces measures 6.5" across. belt measures 30" end to end not counting the buckle. fits 27" 28" 29" 30" 31" Beautiful see pictures below.
