Early Imari signature, approx. 135 years old on the base of the Fuchi-Daka (high rim) plates. The signature appears to be the work of Aoki Kyodai-Shokai (Aoki Brothers Company) or Dai Nippon Hizen Arita Aoki-sei.We quote "Aoki, Porcelain made in Arita. Full name: Aoki Kyodai-Shokai (Aoki Brothers Company) or Dai Nippon Hizen Arita Aoki-sei. The Aoki Kyodai-Shokai was founded in the 1890's by Aoki Jinichiro (1863-1955)."
