This beautiful Set of 4 Japanese Kutani Yokohama Imamura (signed on backside) Dessert Plates have individual groupings of animated cranes feeding in the marshes amongst Iris flowers. The detailing on the boarders features traditional red glaze with gold highlights and each bird has its own distinct personality. The iris flowers are beautifully executed and Mt Fuji looms in the distance of each scene. Plates are in exceptional condition with no chips, scratches, cracks or restorations.
