Description: This is a rare 1-sided 12-inch acetate transcription disc record that plays at 78 RPM. This is a 1-song radio transcription disc from 1942. Disc features Jane From an singing the song "I Dream of You" The song was written by Don Justin and Merle Crowell. I believe that Jane is backed by the Al Goodman's Orchestra on this song. This recording sound like it was taken from a radio show of that time. I male announcer introduces the song and speaks briefly about who wrote the song and why. Disc has a bit of age wear but plays quietly overlll and sounds surprisingly good with very little crackle! No cracks. The disc has no labels, as seen in photos. The center spindle is a little delicate so please handle carefully. If you are a fan or collector of these kind of acetate records in general, please see my other listings - I am selling LOTS and LOTS of similar acetates from the batch I got this item from. *PLEASE SEE MY OTHER AUCTIONS FOR MANY MORE MUSIC COLLECTABLES!!*Thank you!
