Description: I have for sale the James Fenimore Cooper medal issued by the Hall of Fame For Great Americans. The medal is bronze, it is 1 3/4 inch in diameter and in uncirculated condition but it has several tiny spots on the reverse. It comes with the original box & pamphlet. The obverse shows the bust of Cooper and the reverse shows a feather, eagle & Indian bust. The medal was made by the Medallic Art company & Granville W. Carter was the medalists.
