Because this guitar's shape was so different from Charvel's, the staff member's name was used to create the brand name Jackson. Although the brand is famous for its modified guitars, this is the American Series SL3, a Made In USA model derived from the Soloist, which is the origin of many superstrats. The Soloist's characteristic through-neck structure provides excellent playability and sustain in the high positions. The neck is made of 3pc. maple and reinforced with graphite, providing sufficient strength.The fingerboard is made of ebony, which is also used in the top-of-the-line Select series, and the model is impressing with its reverse-type shark fin inlay, which is Jackson's trademark. The frets are made of Jumbo-type stainless steel, allowing you to play with a light touch.Although this price has been achieved by omitting binding on the fingerboard and head, the rolled edge ebony fingerboard is finished with a 12"-16" compound radius, achieving high playability.The side position marks are made of phosphorescent material, improving visibility on stage.The body is made of alder wings, which produces a well-balanced sound and fully brings out the performance of the pickups, effects, and amplifiers.The pickups are Seymour Dancan SSL-6 Flat Strat in the front and center and TB-4b JB in the rear in an SSH arrangement, covering everything from clean to high gain.The bridge and nut are made of Floyd Rose 1500 series.The screw parts, which tend to rust over time, are made of stainless steel to prevent deterioration. The arm is also a pop-in type.The controls are simple, with 1 volume, 1 tone, and a 5-way pickup selector, making it difficult to operate incorrectly.The color is a matte finish, which is a trend in the modern metal guitar scene.
