Description: Offered is an advertising sign for some concerts held at Oakland's Fox Theater in 2014, this one featuring a JACKIE GREEN with THE MOTHER HIPS AND TUMBLEWEED WANDERERS show on March 21st, ST. VINCENT with NOVELLER on March 22nd, FITZ & THE TANTRUMS with BAD SUNS and NIGHTMARE AND THE CAT on April 3rd, ELECTRIC PET SHOP BOYS LIVE 2014 on April 8th, EMIPIRE OF THE SUN on April 18th and FRANZ FERDINAND with CATE LE BON on April 28th. This sign was used on newspaper kiosks and vending machines, and is printed on fairly heavy weight stock with a semi-gloss finish. One-sided, measuring approximately 10 1/4" x 13 1/4". This sign is in good condition, especially considering that it was exposed to the elements while in use. The paper has developed wavy edges from exposure to moisture in the air outside and a little rubbing/wear along the edges; a few dings related to contact with the machine where it was displayed. I am sure that the waves can be minimized by mounting on a foam core backing, though I have in the past had some success pressing the paper with substantial weight, in piles of other paper or between foam core with books on top.
