Description: "Dempsey and Tunney Sparring for an Opening(c) Ex Sup Co Chicago. Made in USA." One of the rare and very collectible "exhibit card" series. I believe this was produced in 1928. Made by Exhibit Supply Company, Chicago, and given out in penny arcade games, shooting galleries, and other vending machines. A fascinating company that operated from 1901? or 1921-1964.Thick card, black and white photo. Blank back. Picture shows Dempsey and Tunney in I believe their 1927 fight where the infamous "Long Count" occurred (Tunney down, but count did not start because Dempsey did not go to his corner). Size: Approx 3 1/2" (3 3/8") x 5 1/2 (5 3/8") " (this is NOT a Churchman's tobacco/cig card). CONDITION: Fair to good condition IMO (per Ebay it would be "excellent"). Minor wear. Light foxing on front and back. See pictures. Shipping will be 1st class with insurance of $50, paid by me. SEE MY OTHER LISTINGS OF BOXING EXHIBIT CARDS INCLUDING ADDITIONAL ONES OF TUNNEY, DEMPSEY, SHARKEY AND VARIOUS FIGHTS.
