A little history on modernist jeweler/metal smith Jack Boyd: Jack Boyd was born in San Diego, California, in 1934. The self-taught artist began sculpting metals at a young age, although he often explores a variety of media and scale. Boyd has received international recognition for his decade-defining 1970's signature spore and bubble bronze jewelry and modernist sculpture. His work has been exhibited throughout the United States and Europe. Jack Boyd passed away in 1982. Jack Boyd’s works are highly coveted and rarely available. Organic and fluid. Hand forged.
