Description: FOR A LOWER GRADE THIS IS A VERY DECENT COPY OF THE FIRST ISSUE. JACK ARMSTRONG COMIC #1 (1947) 1ST ISSUE OF JACK THE ALL-AMERICAN BOY G/VG COPY Click images to enlarge Description This listing is for the "JACK ARMSTRONG" issue #1 comic from (1947) which is listed as SCARCE in the Overstreet Price Guide. Jack was known as the "All American Boy" and also had a very popular radio show. This copy is quite decent for its grade with off-white to light tan pages and tight staples at the centerfold but it does have the following faults: there is a pencil price at the top of page one, a few pages have some staining at the lower right hand corner (see the photos) and a couple of coupons have been filled in with pencil (also shown in the photos). The front cover still retains some gloss but shows wear at the spine, top edge, and corners. The back cover is a touch dirty, has tears at the top and bottom edges, plus a piece missing at the lower right hand corner. My grade is GOOD/VERY GOOD (maybe a tiny touch better) but please (check out the photos to judge the condition for yourself). Hope you'll take a look at our other comic listings while you're here.
