Description: This is what I believe to be a J A Whaley lamp base. I say that due to the style of the cluster, but it is not signed and therefore I do not know for sure. Only markings on the bottom are the numbers 785P and 735 1/2. Even if it is not Whaley, its a really great looking lamp base that would go with a number of different shades. The base has a really thick center and a beautiful leaf motif design on it. Finish is all original including cap and socket shells. Socket shells are labeled Hubbell. Total height is 20". Diameter of bottom plate is 9". Shade rest diameter is about 3 1/4". No socket interiors and not wired. Great looking lamp base.
