Italo Balbo Italian Blackshirt, Marshal Air Force, Army Commander Autograph Rare

Description: Italo Balbo [1896 1940] was an Italian Blackshirt who served as Italy's Marshal of the Air Force, Commander-in-Chief of Italian North Africa and was considered ''heir apparent'' to Italian dictator Benito Mussolini. On June 28, 1940, he was accidentally killed by friendly fire when his plane was shot down over Tobruk by Italian anti-aircraft guns who misidentified his plane. Listed for auction is the autograph of Italo Balbo signed on a calling card. The autograph is signed ''Italo Balbo'' in black fountain and the card measures 3.00 x 2.00 inches. The card has trivial toning otherwise it is in fine condition. The autograph is authentic, uncommon to obtain and is a desirable addition to any military collection.
