Description: Fantastic carved ironwood sculpture with four bears. This is a unique piece on a wonderful large and heavy (10-12 pounds) piece of ironwood. I believe the bears were carved separately and added to the base, which had a central hole that makes it appear the bears are fishing, as evidenced by one of them holding a fish. It is a wonderful piece of art that displays beautifully from any angle. The lighter spots seem to be part of the natural wood. I have admired and collected a few ironwood carvings over the years but have never seen one like this.
