The 2.4kbps data rate is very slow but suitable for light email applications if you are using the Iridium Mail & Web email app. The Iridium GO! is in good condition and in the original box (see pics for details). This kit includes an ultralight Voltaic FUSE 6W solar charger system that is designed to be strapped to a backpack. It has an interior zip-up pouch that holds a 44Wh (44 Watt-Hour) Li-Polymer battery pack with two USB outputs that can be used to charge the Iridium GO! and most smartphones. The idea of the Voltaic FUSE 6W solar charger is to trickle charge the 44Wh battery pack during the day while you walk down the trail. Then, devices like the Iridium GO! and your smartphone can be charged when needed day or night.
