The IOTA IQ4-PARALLEL Smart Charge Controller provides automatic charging control for IOTA DLS Series Chargers operating in parallel when using Flooded Lead Acid type batteries. The IQ4-PARALLEL allows the DLS Chargers to operate as multi-stage automatic "smart chargers", providing the benefit of automatic Bulk, Absorption, and Float stage charging. Multi-stage charging with the IQ4-PARALLEL increases the charging capacity of the DLS chargers, decreases the charge time, ensures a maintained and full battery charge, and minimizes the possibility of over-charging. The IQ4-PARALLEL continually monitors the battery at all times. If the DLS voltage remains in the Float stage for seven days, the IQ module will automatically initiate the Equalization stage for a predetermined time to help maintain the battery plates, and then resume Float Stage charging. The IOTA IQ4-PARALLEL Smart Charge Controller includes a customized cord that easily plugs into the Dual Voltage Jacks of your IOTA DLS Battery Chargers. Once plugged in, the IQ Smart Charge circuitry is automatically engaged and your IQ module will activate. Your DLS Chargers will now provide an automatic and trouble free charging profile to your Flooded Lead Acid batteries. Note: While the IQ4-PARALLEL is designed to accommodate most Flooded Lead Acid batteries, always refer to the manufacturer's specifications for your battery's allowable charging parameters.
