Knight.Pin-back fitting to reverse of clasp carriage, otherwise good very fine Walter Edward Knight, a civil engineer, trained at T.C.E. College and joined the Indian Public Works Department on 26 May 1888. He served in Burma as apprentice engineer rising to assistant engineer, February 1889, and executive engineer in June 1900. He took part in the expedition to Manipur in 1891 for which he received the medal with clasp, and retired in June 1900. He was re-employed as executive engineer in Assam from January 1915.
