It houses a miniature of the famous engraving of the signing of the Penn treaty in 1683, between the Lenni-Lenape and William Penn. To the back is a hand written ink inscription dating to 1811, giving details of the frame and the event. The frame measures about 11cm by 8cm. A mosr remarkable piece of US history, and in wonderful original condition. See pictures for actual condition.
