Description: This 1960s vintage TV tray set from Imperial International Japan is an EXQUISITE addition to any mid-century modern collection. These truly showcase the best of MCM at its finest. Made from hand-rubbed, hand-carved dark brown Kala-Wood, these abstract-shaped trays come in a set of four and are stackable for easy storage. Each tray measures 9.5 inches wide, 4 inches deep, and 1 inch high with two compartments and built-in coasters. The PRE-LOVED yet NEW set comes in its original packaging for added authenticity including its original price tag from Woolco. This was part of a set of 3 boxes found in the back of a closet from a home built in the late 1960s but this was the only set never used. Each tray is still wrapped in its original tissue paper and you can still smell the wood upon opening the box. In pristine shape for its age. There is some rippling and scuffing around the edges of the box shown in the pictures. There is also tape residue on the top tray from the original tag being taped onto the tray. I do not feel comfortable removing the residue as I do not want to damage the wood/tray. The tissue paper is also very fragile due to age. If VINTAGE MCM is your thing, you do not want to pass on these pieces.
