Description: IE&C Co Nippon Hand Painted Pink Floral Raised Gold & Green Vase Circa 1885-1925 Nice antique Japanese porcelain vase. Decorated with hand painted pink flowers with raised gold highlights over a white background and green background. With gold beading and raised gold scrollwork around the top and bottom of the vase. Gold gilding along the ruffled rim. Has the Japan IE&C Co "Nippon" mark on the bottom. IE & C Co used this mark in Nagoya from 1885 to 1925. The Nippon period of Japanese porcelain is 1891 to 1921. Has some wear to the gilding and a gilded over chip to the rim of the vase on the back. Otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 6 1/8 inches wide from handle to handle x 9 5/8 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
