COOKING TIP: For drier rice, use ¼ cup less water. For moister rice, use ¼ cup more water. Cooking Directions - On the Stove In a saucepan, bring 2 cups water to boil. If desired, add tub margarine and salt. Stir in 1 cup of rice. Cover. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes or until all water is absorbed. Makes about 3 cups cooked rice. Cooking Directions - In the Microwave In a 2 quart microwave-safe dish combine 2-¼ cups water and 1 cup rice. If desired, add tub margarine and salt. Cover and microwave on HIGH for 5 minutes.
