Description: Vintage and all-original, so expect the usual dings and dents, but nothing that affects playability or sound. From the 1990 Catoalog: In 1987, Ibanez reached a major turning point. We have reviewed our previous lineup and announced three new electric guitar shapes.S series, R series, RG series, this new generation of guitars debuted, and RG and S series are still popular as Ibanez's main models without changing their basic shape.Among them, the RG series is particularly popular and has many variations. This RG570 is an early model of RG from the 1980s, and even today, more than 30 years after its appearance, it is still used by many professional guitarists due to its reasonable price and excellent sound. One of the reasons for its popularity is that it has the same body shape and basic performance as the JEM series of super guitarist Steve Vai, who had an endorsement contract with Ibanez at the time. When the RG first appeared in 1987, there was no pickguard-less, rear-route RG model with an HSH pickup arrangement, but following the success of the RG550 with an HSH pickup arrangement with a pickguard, the RG570 debuted two years later. The unobtrusive basswood body also makes it easy to shape the sound with an amplifier or effector. The neck adopts an ultra-thin type Wizard shape, and is the initial specification of the Maple 1pc. scarf joint head. The pickup has an HSH arrangement of V1 at the front, S1 at the center, and V2 at the rear, producing a powerful humbucker sound, and an automatic duo system with a single coil tap on the humbucker side in the halftone position (commonly known as Vai wiring) for clean tone cutting. This sound is effective for arpeggios and arpeggios. The bridge uses FRT type EDGE, and its smooth movement and tuning stability are still used in models by Steve Vai and Joe Satriani, and it has received tremendous trust. There is no problem with the condition of the neck. There are no noticeable dents on the frets and there are plenty left. There are scratches and dents throughout, but there are no major damage to the wood or anything that would affect performance. There is discoloration and missing paint.Back panel screws have been replaced. The truss rod cover has been replaced with the current RG one.Jewel Blue is the base color of Paul Gilbert's first signature model PGM100!!This is the perfect model for technical metal from the 80s to 90s!BodyBody type:Solid bodyBody material:BasswoodNeck joint: Tilt JointBridge: Edge tremoloHardware color:BlackNeckNeck type:WizardNeck material:1-piece mapleScale length:648mm/ 25½"Fingerboard material:RosewoodFingerboard inlays: Pearloid dotFrets:24 / jumboNut:Top-Lok IIIMachine heads:Gotoh SG38ElectronicsPickup configuration:HSHBridge pickup:Ibanez V2 (H)Middle pickup:Ibanez S1 (S)Neck pickup:Ibanez V1 (H)Controls:Master volume / master tone / 5-way lever pickup selectorOutput jack:¼" stereo barrel (side mount)Weight:3.63kgYear: 1989
