Description: I. E. & C. Co. Japan Handpainted Nappy / Bowl Nippon Era This bowl is a gorgeous, turn of the century piece of Japanese pottery. It was made by the I.E. & C. Company circa 1900. This overlaps the Nippon Era, but this piece is not Nippon,since it is marked "Japan". This piece is hand painted, with roses and raised dots on the rim.There are hand painted roses on the inside bowl. This piece is truly one of a kind, and is in excellent condition. There are minor areas of wear on the rim, but there are no chips, no cracks and no crazing.
