Offered here is a vintage large format Vaudeville sheet music: "I Don't Care What Becomes Of Me" Character Songs, photos of Irene Franklin and Burt Green [they were married], Published by Leo Feist, NY, 1909. This is an excellent sheet with minor soiling - two initials penciled at the lower left corner - covers separated! All music is shipped in plastic, between stiff cardboard and with delivery confirmation. Irene Franklin (1876–1941) was a redheaded singer whose style was described as a cross between Mae West and one of the Little Rascals. In the early 1900s, she was the most popular woman in vaudeville. In fact she was so popular that in 1908 she was named the "Queen of Vaudeville". She and her husband joined many other vaudevillians in a tour of Europe for the soldiers in 1918. After the death of her musical partner and husband, Burt Green, in 1922, (1870-1922) her songs were less funny and she was unable to make the switch to films. They had been teamed by Tony Pastor.
