Dr. Elbasets research interests are in the areas of renewable energy sources, power electronics, power system protection and control, power quality and harmonics, neural network, and fuzzy systems. He is the author of six previous books. Salah I. H. Ata is a senior operation and maintenance engineer with Telecom Egypt. He received his B.S., M.Sc., and Ph.D. from Faculty of Engineering, Department of Electrical Engineering, Minia University, Egypt. His research interests are in the areas of renewable energy sources, power electronics, power system protection and control, power quality and harmonics, neural network, and fuzzy systems.
