Each plate has a scallop edge as well as a generous sized white embossed lip, to better show off the beauty and bright colors in the individual designs. The plate set is rare because there are so few that have all six original designs. They are made in Germany, and each plate has the Hutschenreuther logo and markings on them.New unboxed, never used set in perfect condition with no marks or wear.
