Description: original Goebel Hummel figurine # Hum 20. "Prayer Before Battle" by Goebel crown era * stamped "Made in U.S.-Zone Germany" Height 11 cm (about 4 1/2 inches). TMK 1 "Crown Era". The figurine was made between 1935 and 1949. It has under the base NO trade mark, as it is often the case with early crown era figurines. There is only stamped "Made in U.S.-Zone Germany". This stamp was only used between 1946 and 1948. This figurine was originally modeled by master sculptor Arthur Moeller in 1935. Being an early piece, the base is "Doughnut". The figurine is well kept and in excellent condition with no damage, chips, crazing, repairs or the likes. Please feel free to contact me anytime for further information.
