Description: HUMAX HDCI-2000 HD Satellite Set Top Box This is a Brand New HD Digital Satellite Receiver. I brought this unit in from Europe to test for use on a commercial project and decided to go with a different receiver. It has European Satellite names loaded into it and also has 5 User Define Satellites that can be setup up to use as you like. The European Satellite names can be edited and changed to what you like or you can just set up 2 User Define Satellites, one for C-Band and one for Ku-Band and just use them for all of the various satellites that you aim at. To test the unit, I connected it to a 10' Satellite dish that is equipment with a Norsat LNB and an ALGA 5G Blue Filter and put the satellite dish on SES 1 @ 101 West and input the parameters for the Me TV Mux located at 4180MHz Horizontal SR30000 and scanned the channels in and confirmed they played. I took pictures of the menu as I went through the steps, pictured above. For the Me TV mux / channels to lock and play, you will need at least 9.4db of signal. This receiver will work for both C or Ku Band Free To Air channels. This receiver comes with a European Plug and I provide a Euro to US Plug Adapter, Manual, Remote Control, SCART cable & HDMI Cable.
