Description: Offered for sale is a very large Victorian Chemists jar with a Gilt label that reads QUIN: SULPH It is free-blown with a ground and polished base pontil, flared lip and ground-in glass stopper. The jar is in excellent condition, a tiny amount of internal content residue. With the stopper in place,it is 11.5 inches / 29 cm high and probably dates c1850-70.
