Description: Huge LAMSON & GOODNOW USA Carbon Steel Knife Carving Butcher Antique Vintage 13" Knife is signed on handle and on blade. Total length is 18". Blade length is just under 13". Wooden handled is triple brass riveted. Overall good condition. Blade is darkened from age. Minor pitting. Trademark is readable. See photos for exact condition. Lamson knives were manufactured in Shelburne Falls, MA beginning in 1837. It is the oldest cutlery manufacturer in the US and remains in business today.
