Wayne, IN 46816 This offering is for a complete RF power measurement system; HP 432A Power Meter (S/N 1826A16xxx, Struthers GIL-360A power sensor (S/N 888xx) and a 5-foor sensor cable, HP 8120-1082. The system has been completely cleaned and refurbished. The interior of the meter has been inspected for burned, broken and leaky parts and switch contacts have been cleaned with DeOxit. The system has been compared to my HP 435B/HP 8481B system and the two systems agree with less than 0.10 dB difference over the 50 MHz to 1.3 GHZ frequency range and from +10 dBm to -20 dBm power levels. Comparison data will be furnished. The sensor has a Return Loss of >30 dB at 1.3 GHz; (VSWR <1:1.07) - it has not been blown up. The HP 432A is a clean meter - the front panel is clean and markings are clear. There are a few minor cosmetic dings on the cabinet, but the old calibration and inventory tags have been cleaned off. The Struthers GIL-360A sensor is clean and has very little wear and few signs of abuse. The 8120-1082 cable is clean with no tears or burns. The contacts were cleaned with DeOxit. Now - a sales pitch; Why should you consider this system? A. It has been cleaned and refurbished - it is as close to "new" as you will find for a 30+ year old instrument. It will look good on your bench. B. It has been tested and compared to another "known good" system. Comparison data will be provided. C. There isn't the risk of buying one piece at a time and having one component not function properly. This has been checked out as a complete system. I will pack it securely and I will insure the shipment for sale value - that way if the USPS loses or destroys it, buyer and seller will be protected. (This is included in the handling costs).
