Historically important for corporate archivists, these are extremely rare to locate and are virtually unseen individually. The original lithographs were produced in only one edition, and included just 2,000. These lithographs are perhaps the most unique, rare, important advertising collectibles that exist for businesses and corporations.About the Artist: Howard Baer was born in a little mining town below Pittsburgh in 1907. He received his art education at the Carnegie Institute in Pittsburgh. Journeying to New York in 1929, he has lived there continuously excepting during those periods devoted to traveling in Southern France and Mexico. Baer has achieved widespread attention for his drawings, illustrations, and cartoons. He found his first opportunity to devote his time to easel painting in 1941 when he journeyed to the interior of a mountain village in Mexico called Chapala. He spent several months in the village, and a series of paintings and a large mural of the town which resulted from this stay and which made up noteworthy exhibitions.
