Description: This is a UK spice rack in the classic 1980’s Hornsea Heirloom design by John Clappison. There are six labelled spice jars all in the Heirloom pattern in the Autumn Brown colour, all of which fit neatly into the shaped wooden rack. The rack has two holes in the back so it can be wall-mounted. The labels are not a removable labels but are part of the pottery. The jars are labelled CURRY, SAGE, PARSLEY, THYME, and two MINT. These jars all have the old embossed Hornsea stamp to the base so probably date to the early 1970s. Jars without lids measure 3 3/4” in height and 1 7/8” width, there are no chips cracks or crazing. The wood rack and lids are in very good condition, one of the lids is missing the seal. See photos.
