Description: Proudly presented today is this very distinctive Hopi Cradle Kachina, depicting Kyash, the Parrot Kachina. Feathers are absolutely crucial to Hopi ceremonialism, so there is a Kachina dedicated to the increase and abundance of the birds that produce them. This remarkable example, standing 11 and a half inches tall, is the work of Eric Roy, son of Coolidge Roy and nephew of the late Silas Roy. Eric recently mentioned that he wanted to carve some Cradle Dolls, to make his work available to a wider audience. His interpretation of Cradle Dolls is very fresh and distinctive, and placing them on a stand was an original idea. This one is just delightful, and the little parrot perched atop his head is a tiny work of art all by itself. Buy with complete confidence, for as you know, the buyer is unsatisfied for ANY reason, i will immediately return the full purchase price, along with return shipping. If you like Cradle Kachinas, then this certainly is the one for you! Many Thanks for your kind consideration, and as always, Best Regards, Rich
