Description: Homer Laughlin Marriott Hot Shoppe Footed Coffee Mugs Gold Crown 1950's Set of 2 Vintage Pair of Marriott Hot Shoppe Footed Coffee Mugs. Back in the day every hotel chain had a great restaurant. The Marriott chain had the Hot Shoppe and whether you were a guest or just stopping on for the delicious food it was a mainstay in the community. This set of 2 footed Coffee mugs were made for the first Hot Shoppe ever in Washington DC in the 1950's. They have a white body, gold footed base, decorative handle and Marriott Hotel crown logo on each side. Part of Homer Laughlin restaurant ware collection and marked with their logo on the bottom of each. Each mug measures 5" high x 2 3/4" wide a the top rim and are in good pre-owned condition free of any chips or cracks. Show normal wear from use and one mug have a couple dark spots by its rim. Please see all pictures. A great set of mug perfect for anyone who collects Homer Laughlin China, advertising items, hotel memorabilia or restaurant memorabilia. Vintage and antique items have been loved and used by the previous owner so please expect for there to be some imperfections. If there are any major imperfections such as age cracks, rust, chips, etc I will do my best to list them. I will combine shipping if you buy multiple items when I can.
