Description: DUCK / DUCKLING ANIMATION CELL - HOMELESS CAP BINDLE HOBO TRAMP A while ago I bought some animation art from the estate sale of a well known animator who worked in the UK at Cosgrove Hall and worked on a number of well known productions including The BFG, Count Duckula, Danger Mouse and more. He was a well known collector of animation memorabilia and had contacts around the world where he was able to pick up rare and original pieces. This acetate painting of a lovely yellow duck, with a cap and bindle (also known as a Blanket Stick stereotypically carried by Hobos). I believe I recognise the character but I can’t place him, reminds me of perhaps Oliver Twist, Dick Whittington type character but I’m unsure. If this is from a production I’m sure someone will identify it and could get a bargain! The artwork is pained on to the plastic and has the paper backing. The front of the plastic has some marks, brown paint that you might be able to carefully remove. As the duckling is painted on the back I’m sure that it will be possible if you wish to try!
