Description: I am pleased to present this incredibly interesting piece of Homan silver-plate. The Homan Mfg Company was established in 1847 by Henry Homan and Asa F. Flagg and out of business in 1941. In its prime, this little jewel would have literally been a shinning example of wonderful craftsmanship. However, this particular item survived a house fire and there is very little, if any silver-plate left. The result is a one of a kind patina with amazing character.
