The art and collectibles that we are offering to eBay buyers are special and unique pieces that have been carefully “curated” by us. This beautiful hand painted floral collectible is just under 9 ½” in diameter. It is a deep plate (about 1 ¼” tall at the rim) --- or one might also describe it as a shallow bowl. This white china / porcelain collector’s item is hand painted with multicolor flowers. The color range includes mauve / pink, orange, blue and yellow --- and green (leaves). The orange color was also used for a thin band around the rim and for a wider band around the center. The plate is in good used vintage condition. There are only a few very tiny marks / scratches on the surface from handling. In the center design, it looks there are a few spots where thick edges of paint were rubbed off during the manufacturing process (rather than from subsequent handling or wear). This is a 20th century plate, but it has an antique look. This large hand painted decorative plate would be a great accent piece on a wall --- or displayed on a tabletop stand or easel. This Hungarian collectible was made with a small hole in the back for hanging it from a wire or string ---- if you don’t want to use a traditional wire plate hanger. The following is printed in green on the back of the plate, with the company name curving around an evergreen tree logo, and the rest printed just below: HOLLOHAZA HUNGARY 1831 4 Just below that, DISZTAL is printed in gold. The 1831 number is sometimes read as 4834 or 1834; you can look at the photos and see what you think.
