Description: Historical Staffordshire blue Mellon shaped pitcher in the Landing of Lafayette pattern by Clews. In very good condition with just a small professional spout chip repair that is invisible and a line on the top part of the handle were it meets the body. There is nothing on the lower section of the handle, so the handle was never off. This is a very scarce form to find. It measures 8” tall to the top of the handle and dates circa 1825.
