Hiroshima-509thComposite Group-Crew A-2, Two signed photos, Laggin Dragon

Description: Good evening, What I am listing tonight are two 8 x 10 black and white photos one of the B 29 "Laggin Dragon", the firstautographed by six Flight Crew." Laggin Dragon" was one of 15 B 29's especially built to carry and drop an Atomic Bomb,the other is a crew photograph signed by three. These photographs were autographed 20 or more years ago. The photographs were reproduced from an original negative in my possession The fist phot was taken when the crew was starting to transport bomb components, the second photo was taken In Cuba, Jan. 1945 when the crew was there training for over water Navigation. The plane was named "Laggin Dragon" as It was the last of the 393rd Bomb Group B 29's to land on Tinian. Copies, not originals of correspondence are included. Autographs on these photos are hand signed on the photos, not scans, reprints or forgeries and were obtained by me at Reunions. This Is a quality autographed photo each man has written what his position was- The Importance of this crew was that it flew the Nagasaki Fat Man Bomb Assembly to Tinian on August 1st, 1945. Due to their late arrival on Tinian the Crew flew no combat missions, however their plane "Laggin Dragon" was used as the Nagasaki Weather B 29 on August 9th,1945 by the Charles McKnight Crew. I was elected an Honorary Member of the 509th In 2001. I have attended every 509th Reunion since 1990. I have been the Reunion Chairman 2001-2006- 2007-2016 & 17. I have been a consultant to Television programs and to authors both here and abroad. At my age It's time to thin out my collection.
