And they could easily be mistaken for new shoes by an onlooker. Close examination reveals that all surfaces are extremely clean, quite the same as new, and with no flaws or blemishes. The insides are also clean and the wear on the bottoms is so mild it only deserves to be called friction. Overall these shoes are about 98-99% the same as new in this seller's opinion. They do not have the new price and are thus a great value. The uppers are likely composed of a cotton blend fabric although it cannot be confirmed by any label. The rear panels could be called faux suede or faux leather. The color is light to medium gray for most of the surface areas and fully medium gray on the backs. The majority light to medium gray is actually gray with fine white lines running parallel. The overall effect is light to medium gray though. The interior walls are yellowish orange in color. The original laces are not the traditional kind that must be tied but rather stretch laces. They flex to allow the wearer to pull the shoes on and then keep mild but constant tension to keep them securely attached to the feet. The ends are tied off (as made). Original padded insoles inside. Incredibly lightweight with a grip pattern on the bottoms to prevent slippage. The size is youth two which will likely be worn by a seven to twelve year old.
