Description: Original 1894 cabinet card, boy posing with his pit bull. On the back in period handwriting is: "'Buster' Morrison, age 2, 1894. Boys were always dressed in skirts until potty trained! This is most likely the dog who saved Bob from drowning". There is no studio or location but based on research and other photos of this family I have/had, I know his name was Robert C. Morrison, born November 1892. At the time of this photo his family lived in Cepac Village, St. Clair, Michigan. Cabinet card is 6.5" x 4.25" and in excellent antique condition. Great photo and a great story!
