Leonard, Pigeon Cove being in the town of Rockport on Cape Ann, Massachusetts. Published in Boston by F. A. Searle, it contains illustrations by Thomas Lee Bulson. It has matching publication and copyright dates of 1873, and, with no later edition stated, it is presumed to be the First Edition. The book is in excellent condition, especially considering its age, with the binding nice and tight, but a few creased page corners, some scattered stains or foxing, and some scuffs and stains and typical light edge wear on the cover.
