Description: Hellraiser 2 Screen Used Puzzle Box Movie Prop Doug Bradley Clive Barker I had over 100 movie props and have been collecting for 10+ years. My props include a Freddy Sweater from Freddy Vs. Jason, Billy Animatronic Puppet from Saw 3D, numerous knives and overalls/hobo costume from RZ’s Halloween 2, and countless props from House of 1,000 Corpses, The Devil’s Rejects, 31 and more. This puzzle box was purchased from collector Matt Pearlman 10+ years ago. The brass was coming off of the box and I had it put back on by Mark Phillips at Nightmares Unlimited. This box comes with a laminated LOA from Ken Caslis with the history of the item. The summary of the LOA states: "This box was purchased from well known movie prop collector Phil Jones in October 1992. Mr. Jones obtained it from a member of the prop department working on the film.” I am not posting a picture of the LOA as it could be replicated and I do not want that. However, it will be sent to the winner of this auction. Unfortunately the creator of the box, Simon Sayce has passed away and I am unable to get further COA’s. I have talked this over with Mark Phillips, who owns and has had access to other screen used boxes and he said given the age and condition of the box when he refurbished it, that he 100% believes it is authenic and was screen used in Hellraiser 2. Given the source of the box from who I purchased it (Matt Pearlman - another fellow collector who has owned numerous props), I believe this box to be authentic from the movie. At recent Prop Store auctions, boxes from Hellraiser 1 & 2 have sold for $15,000 and up, plus buyers fees of 25%. I was affected by Hurricane Helene and am selling off a lot of my collection.
