Description: DORA and HEIDI by Johanna Spyri, 1st Edition Hardcover Antique Books DORA (1924): The covers are lightly discolored and the spine and back cover are faded. Both covers are securely attached and the pages are tightly bound. There is shelf wear to the cover edges and corners. There is a former owner's name written in pencil on the first page as well as a small sticker with a different owner's information. HEIDI (1915): The covers are worn, discolored and faded. The spine is very faded. Both hinges are broken. An inscription to a former owner is dated Xmas 1923. It is apparent that a small sticker used to be located in the bottom corner. There are two pages with color illustrations which are chipped. One is taped into the book because it came detached at some point. The last page is chipped because it is lying awkwardly due to the hinge being broken. Every effort has been made to accurately document the condition of these items, so please examine the photos closely before purchasing.
