Description: Overview Hawke Sport Optics delivered the 5-30x50 Frontier 30 Side Focus Riflescope specifically to address the needs of low-light and long-range precision shooters and hunters. To emphasize its goals, Hawke outfitted the scope with a large 50mm objective, which can scoop more light at dawn and dusk than an average scope, and the illuminated TMX reticle. The fully multi-coated optics offer 21 layers of anti-reflection coatings to further increase resolution and image brightness. Located on the 2nd focal plane is the etched-on-glass TMX Reticle with an illuminated crosshair. The crosshair has illuminated thin lines to 5 mil in each direction on the horizontal axis and 8 mil spacing, for hold-over, on the lower vertical axis with an additional 8 mil spacing on the upper vertical axis. The reticle also has a grid of aiming dots below the center, where dots are spaced at .5 mil intervals. The grid provides you with aiming points for any weather or situation, and allows you to adjust your shots quickly without using windage and elevation knobs. For added accuracy, you can easily correct the parallax effect from 30 yd to infinity with the adjustable objective ring. To help with compensation for wind and ballistic bullet drop, the riflescope offers 60 MOA of windage and elevation adjustment range and a 1/4 MOA per click impact point correction. The scope's aluminum construction is centered around its 30mm single-piece maintube. It is filled with nitrogen for fogproof and waterproof performance. The overall design features a slender and unobtrusive shape with low-profile capped turrets. To prevent recoil-related zoom shift, the fast-focus eyepiece is outfitted with a high-torque zoom ring. To keep your scope's lenses protected from debris, dust, and dirt while it is not used, one objective lens cap and one ocular lens cap are also included. Other included accessories are a lens cloth, one CR-2032 battery, and screw-in sunshade.
